Appointment + Patient Info

Information about hours, services and rates, insurance billing, and scheduling appointments for in office visits in Manhattan (Flatiron / Union Square / Chelsea), and virtual / remote healing sessions and groups. I am in network with Oscar and accept most plans that offer out of network acupuncture benefits.

My office is located at 13-15 West 28th St, Suite 5R, New York, NY 10001 (between Broadway and 5th Ave).

Appointments are available Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays. You can view current availability and schedule your appointment now using the pink button above. Please email me to schedule an initial acupuncture visit.

If you are not in NYC, I work with people remotely for Healing Touch and Breathwork, using Zoom; please select this as the appointment type when scheduling your appointment. You will receive an email invitation from Zoom with a link of how to join the session within 1 day of the session. Keep in mind that my calendar shows availability in NYC time!

The schedule tends to fill several weeks in advance, and much further ahead for evening appointments. If you aren’t finding times that work for you, please don’t hesitate to email me and let me know what’s going on anyway — I will add you to the wait list for cancellations, and/or I will be happy to refer you to some of the many wonderful acupuncturists and healers that I know and trust.

Payment is due at the time of service. You are welcome to pay using cash, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Venmo. I accept most FSA/HSA cards for payment, though occasionally one will not go through; please plan accordingly with a backup if you plan to use your FSA/HSA card. I do not accept personal checks.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy; you will be charged in full for any changes made to your appointment (including rescheduling and cancellation) within 24 hours.

I accept some health insurance for acupuncture sessions. I am an out-of-network provider with Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, and BCBS, and an in-network provider with Oscar. I do not work with GHI, Oxford, Emblem, Fidelis, or Health Net. If you have another carrier, please ask and we’ll see what we can do.

Policies and coverage can vary widely, so just fill out this form; we'll check with your insurance company and get back to you within 2 business days with details about your acupuncture coverage. If you have coverage, my office will bill your insurance company for your visits directly.

For supplements, I use a wide (but curated and particular) range of brands, some of which are available from health food stores, other which are only available through healthcare practitioners. Most of the Western herbs, adaptogens, vitamin and mineral supplements, and nutritional products that I suggest are available through my online dispensary (through Wellevate/Emerson Ecologics) which is open to the public. Feel free to create an account and peruse my product selection for a better sense of what I draw upon.
