At the beginning of last month, I did my usual check in with a well-known astrologer's horoscopes. This time, the gist of it was, and I'm only being slightly dramatic, "Your month is going to totally suck and be filled with setbacks in every area of your life, so good luck with that." I got to the end and wondered, "wtf was that?! Am I just supposed to sit around anticipating disaster for the next 30 days?"
I decided then that it was time for a cleanse -- an astrology cleanse. No more input from other people about what's going on in my universe and my experience. Only taking in info from the ultimate expert on me -- my own intuition. And, wouldn’t you know it, July turned out to be amazing.
With apologies for any bubble-bursting, amazing health is not going to just magically happen to you. I’m so sorry. While your body is almost miraculously designed to preserve health, the modern world is filled with all kinds of toxic nonsense that our bodies are working hard to keep at bay, and it simply doesn’t have the energy to do everything.
How we spend our days determines our long term health, and also what kind of reserves we have in place when we’re faced with an unexpected health issue. But you don’t need to completely overhaul your entire life -- some tweaks and adjustments to the little things can provide so much support for your health!
Getting this out of the way : I'm not perfect, and I don't have all the answers. You know this about me by now, but in case you're new here (hi!) and missed it : despite all of my experience, effort, and education, my hair will always be a total mess, I look tons of work-related things up in reference books every day, I still can't figure out how to cook rice (seriously, wtf?!), I need like 7 alarms to get me out of bed, and attempts at reforming my cursing like a sailor have thus far all failed (see last parentheses).
